Hello traveller members.

I am going to live in Texas soon, and i have heard a lot about the "Six Flags Park" and i am from Brazil ( Where there are very few good amusement parks ) and i love to go amusement parks it is like an entire day of radical sports.

I wonder where was the best amusement parks experience of your lifes.

From thematic parks, aquatic, conventional or any kind of really fun and amused establishment.

I haven't been to all that many amusement parks - La Ronde here in Montreal (now a Six Flags place), Canada's Wonderland in Toronto, Marineland in Niagara (pathetic!), Disney in Orlando, and Busch Gardens so long ago I can't remember it.

I guess I'd pick Montreal's cause I know it best. It also has the biggest wood roller coaster in the world and I'm a sucker for coasters. Although last year I went on the new rediculously steep hill-after-hill coaster and, at the top, regretted my decision. Too late!

I went to the Six Flags in Texas and while the rollercoasters certainly were the fastest and most insane I've ever been on it wasn't much fun as I ended up sacrificing lunch (damn peer pressure), but I guess I'm just weak ;)

Thanks for your feedbacks people.

I will tell you the few amusement parks i have been , in São paulo city there is "playcenter" the best for me , one that i always go since i was a child. Now there is two that i go often that is between Sao paulo city and Campinas, they are two though, HOPI HARI AND WET N WILD" they are good ,but nothing compared with PLAYCENTER in my opnion.
There is also the "BETO CARREIRO WORLD" that worths going more for it ´s loacation near good beachs and cities. It is near Florianopolis and Blumenau cities in the Santa Catarina state ( south of brazil ).

The one in Brazil that i didn´t have the chance to go yet is the "Beach PArk" of northest, an aquatic park the biggest in South America.

I think it was all my amusement parks experiences until today , and i love them , i can´t figure when i will get to know the bests amusement parks of the world . I will move there.

I'd like to enter a plea for Efteling, a quaint, 50-year-old amusement parklet in the beautiful province of Brabant, Netherlands. The rides aren't particularly exciting, but it features a fairytale themepark that is, well, just cute.

Well i've never been to any amazing ones :(

I'd say the best i've been to is either Alton Towers in the UK or Universal Studios in LA.

Napoleon

I heard about this Alton Towers before, it looks like many people of UK like to go this theme park. I went to their website and its article on wikipedia and it has few attractions , but they seem to be hardcore.

"Rides 33 attractions in total

8 roller coasters
3 water rides "

and they have a "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" ride, i want to see this :( , it must be THE MOST EXTREME EVER.

It's going to look small and possibly poor compared to alot of Americas Themeparks, i'm not sure what they are like in Brazil, but it is the best the UK has to offer.

It has a few simple coasters like a minetrain and it has the bigger multiple looped/corkscrew type.

It is mainly adult rides, but it does have alot of themed areas such as toyland, charlie.. etc.
