I absolutely love Vienna. I have been there at least 3 times in my lifetime and it just seems to get even more beautiful each time I go. It has lovely baroque architecture, many museums and art galleries, a few gorgeous palaces like Schonbrunn and Belvedere, great city parks, restaurants and cafes, churches, specialty shops, etc. There is so much to see and do there. Well, Vienna Austria has my vote!

Cheers,

I've always wanted to go to go to Vienna. We were so close...on the dark highway, heading out of Budapest. Never happened, unfortunately, (although. I'm sure I saw more of Hungary than most!)

Later, I asked our Innkeeperwhat would be her preference? Vienna or Prague?

I shall never forget her answer. She said; "Vienna is very beautiful, but Prague, It is like opening a beautiful jewerly box, where you open the box and there is music and beauty, little jewels everywhere!"

I HAVE to see Prague!

1 vote for Munich--

Good sized city, relaxed atmosphere, best beer in the world(and best places to drink it--not a club city), easy to get around, close to so much outdoor activity. Has great old history and culture, but perhaps the most organized modern transportation. And the people have always been great to me. For the combination of laid back lifestyle, history, comfort, size, and quailty--from everything to beer/food/cars--Munich is my favorite.
