Just a line to say that l finally got to meet Tina (tway) on Saturday when we were in Montreal and she is really as lovely and beautiful in real life as she appears on line! A real sweetie!

We had a lovely time - dinner, and some delicious Sangria! All whilst being entertained out doors by an interesting red headed, slightly over weight jazz singer who enjoyed clicking his fingers and loving himself a bit too much! Oh and we were queue jumped by a gereatric lady who then sat in practically every seat in the restaurant until she hot footed to a balcony seat!

Just to say thanks again to Tina for entertaining us for an evening in Montreal!

The photographic evidence is HERE - and l swear l wasnt drunk its just a really bad photo!!!!!!!!

Oh and l forgot to add - Tina you HAVE to come over to Ireland for Christmas (leave Neal behind if he cant get the holidays!) we owe you drinks!!!!!!!

OMG! My head looks huuuuge! Let's agree to blame it on Paul's bad photography. ;) We both looked really good! Honest!

It was great to meet you both! I'm sorry to have missed you the Sunday, but we will definitely take up again soon. I may head to Ireland with or without Neal, indeed...

I'll say hello to Mr. Hugh Ball for you if I see him again this summer...

I've now edited this to read "Hugh Ball" instead of "Huge". Completely different cup of tea.

I totally agree with Garry. You two are completely shit-faced and any denial of this fact just implicates you further

Hear that Garry?

I say we get as many people as possible to buy us pints and start a "booze around the world for free tour".

We can start in Belfast, and pass through Beerman's place for, um, a month or so

Yeah, and now a cover-up attempt, which of course failed to fool us!

Now theres a thread of its own - the James & Garry world beer tour - starting in Belfast see how many offers of a pint you can get and how far around the world you can make it!!! It could be sponsered and everything!

BACK ON TOPIC - I WOULD AT THIS POINT CATEGORICALLY STATE TINA & I WERE NOT, I REPEAT NOT DRUNK - THE SANGRIA WAS FAR TO WATERED DOWN FOR THAT!!!!!!!!!

Does that mean I have to get the guest room ready??
Maybe you can just set up a cot or two in Beerman's office. I know there is a hotplate in the lab for heating up those cans of beans.

Sangria??? Oh the shame of it all!!! Have neither of you learned that MARTINIS are the requisite drink of all TP meet-ups???

So glad you were able to make the trip, Heather!!! Just be happy T didn't take you on the mountain climbing expedition to the top of Mont Royale... And, I'd love to see the two of you together in person... Ireland at Christmas, huh?? Mmmmm....

Isa now skips off to break open the piggy bank and see if there are enough pennies to cover airfares. She's hoping those $0.99 fares are still available because that's about all that's in the piggy bank...
