Hi, my friends and I (women in late 30s) are thinking of going to Greece in August, and we have all bene to Santorini, Mikonos, Paros, Skyatos, Ios, Milos, Crete in the past.
We are thinking of going to Lefkas... any advise? I read controversial reviews about it... beautiful clean waters/dirty beaches, nice people/rude people, etc....
Ciao Annalisa! Come va?
Well, Lefkas (or Lefkada) is among the best islands in Greece. If you go there unforgettable moments waiting for you and your friends. I mean there is unlimited natural beauty. Golden sandy endless beaches, extreme nightlife, friendly local people would welcome you always. The only disadvantage I can see on your choice is the period of time. August is always a very crowded month. Anyway it worths the value. Do it!
If you need any further info do not hesitate to contact me. Here or on my e-mail : cv7gr(at)yahoo(punto)com I 'll be yours for any kind of help or service or any desire that I can offer/help. Hope to see you around this summer
i have absolutely no experience with the islands of Ionian sea.
But apart from lefkas there lie Zakynthos and Kefalonia whch are similar -at least from what i hear- so there is always a shaved knuckle in the hole
