Hello everyone, planning a 4 week trip to thailand over christmas and gonna try and get to cambodia or vietnam, do any travellers fancy coming along with me and my mate, were only just planning it at the moment so if u wanna come along help us plan it now to get the most out of the holiday, should be fun and the more the merrier,
its me birthday new years eve and are planning to get to a good party on a beach somewhere, and for the rest of the time trying to get to see some of the good sites, and snorkling on some nice islands,
if anyones got any nice suggestions on places to snorkle would be appreciated too.(is there any snorkling in cambodia/vietnam?)

p.s i can only travel for 4 weeks because of boring work, they wont let me have anymore time off.

Kevin,
There is snorkelling in Nha Trang VN & Sihanoukville Cambodia. There are offshore islands in both locations and have active dive operations. You can go with the dive boats and just snorkel, usually for minimal fees. In Nha Trang, take the bay tour for swimming/snorkelling, lunch and all the free wine you want, all for $6. Hard to beat that.

cheers vegasmike6, ill make sure theyre on my destinations to go snorkling, ive noticed uve been to quite a few places in cambodia and VN, (some very good photos) im planning on going to ko chang which is just off pattaya, and then probably off to cambodia, could you reccommend any hotels to stop at whilst in pohm phenn, ive never been there before and its gonna be a bit of an adventure, any tips or hints you could give me would be very appreciated, planning on stopping in cambodia and VN for ten days only,what/where would you reccommend to go/see, do they celebrate Christmas or the New year?
sorry if i sound stupid, but any info would be gratefull
