hey all, iv just returned from oz, i went for 2 monthes, but now im back im bord with life here!, i want to go again! but i will be in the same position when i return, i will want to go again, but i was looking into starting a property buisness, once setup i could travel, but i would be tied to this country and have to come back, i do have a flat at the moment but i could sell and walk away with £36k or rent it out-
So do i set up my company before i go, or what?, i cant make my mind up as i could be very wealthy if i start my company, but its worth pointing out im 25 year old, but i like living life to the full, but you need money!!!

Hey, I don’t know if I will be of much help as I am in the same situation as you, well not exactly the same, hears my situation: I dropped out of uni last year and started a small business, I work from home and its great, easy good money and im my own boss, I have since booked my round the world ticket with the girlfriend but this was before the business started taking off, and my dilemma now is should I go or should I cancel and work for another year or so and make lodes more money, but to be honest I have a feeling if I stay and the money starts rolling in then I might want to stay and make more and will not know when to say “that’s enough” really how much is enough? Personally I have decided that I AM GOING even though I think it will be the worst decision but also the best iv ever made, I will always think about what things would be like if i would have stayed and kept at the business, but then again I know im going to have one AMAZING time traveling and who knows, might find somewhere or someone that will enhance my business potential and opportunities and will come back with new visions, so I think you should go, your still young at 25 and starting a business will mean you will always have worries when traveling and will mean you can be called back at any time to fix a problem (e.g staff leaving) go on your trip and enjoy yourself then come back and make your millions, so im just going to say GO GO GO….. Have an amazing trip!!

Hi Zia khattak,

In the short Iv started a small entertainment business, arranging exclusive VIP trips to all major music and sporting events in the UK and slowly moving to the European market as well.

In the pip line is also a small business for African (and maybe Asian) sporting good/ memorabilia based in the uk, but that’s going to kick off when I come back from my travels, so no rush yet,

How about yourself Zia, what business have you started??

Hi David (ontheedge),

Do one need to be competent in the finance/stock market department to play the shares/stock game?
I have no business concept or know anything to do with economics and business stuff. But I have a feeling it makes no sense to not have any sort of investment if I'm to embark a RTW trip!

Do you think it is wise to start digging my head into learning some terminology, or find a manage funds and let them deal with it?
How easy is it to play with shares? and Whats an ideal capital to start with? I've been told its pointless starting with AUD$1000 (837 pounds)...

Cheers

hi benn, its interesting how many people ask me about investing, i would love to give advice and help people make money, i belive everyone should be finacialy free!!but you have to be regulated to do it properly, However i can tell you what i have done ;)-your in australia i notice! you are in a great place to start!, i bought a book called 'what i didnt learn at school but wish i had', it is about making money, but unlike most books on investing, it explains how you can follow a path to your finacil dreams etc...-everyone is rich, but in there own way!, but you need to grow your wealth to create more pleasure and help people around you!-making your money work is made up of 3 elements buisness shares property, i choose all 3, i make abit of money on ebay (buisness) i hold shares (not many) and i have a property which you can add value from giving it a lick of paint!-also i wrote down all my outgoings and made changes which gave me more cash!!-im not giving you any specific advice but decide what life you want and do something about it!-travel will help as it broadens your mind-hope iv made sense!

Quoting JyrogeHow about yourself Zia, what business have you started??

I am in the process of setting up a petrol station. The project may take about a year to complete. Currently i'm working with an oil company.
Best of luck in yor business plans. By the way, Pakistan produces excellent quality sports goods, and they are dirt cheap here. May be you can think of importing to UK ( Nike and adidas are already doing so). People are already making hell of money exporting to europe and US.

Live in peace.
