I will be travelling to NZ mid November this year. Can anyone pls recommend places which every travellers must visit while in NZ? Where is the best place for Bungee jumping in NZ? This is my first trip to NZ. I hope it turns out to be a great and memorable trip. Any recommendations and suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot guys!!
My favorite spots in NZ: Tongariro NP, the drive down the West Coast, Queenstown and Wanaka area, Milford Sounds, Mt. Cook/Lake Tekapo/Pukaiki region, doing a great walk or two, and the Nelson region. Notice a pattern - they are almost all on the South Island.
For bungee jumping, your best bet would probably be Queenstown. I've never done it so don't know if it has the best jumps in NZ, but it definelty has most options with a few different jumps outside the town. Queenstown is a base for alot of the extreme sports in the country.
Yeah for sure check out queenstown, its the kind of NZ people expect when they come, nice mountains, views, sheep etc!
The south island is really nice, the north too, north island you have to check out Mt Ruapehu, really nice views.
Auckland is a great city, fairly vibrant, but nothing special, just a city really!
