Hey, anyone be in Auckland throughout July?? I arrive on the 28th June and have no plans as such, i was supposed to be visiting a guy over there which has fallen through.
I was staying at his, so i'm totally freaking out at being alone for a whole month.
Would appriciate any advice on where to go/stay etc and car hire. Prob only stay in North island and travel around there, so if anyone wants to join me then that'd be cool.

What a shame Ally I won't be home (NZ) there during that time, I am sure that you will have a great time though, you´ll love NZ, trust me.

Thanks for that, i'm now deciding on whether to apply for a working holiday visa so i'm up for a good travel round from August onwards......thats if i get it sorted in time, i'll keep you posted!
And yes Jess, he is but he's got back with his ex so not much i can do!!

I arrive in Auckland on August 19 and like you, do not have any thing planned. I know that I will be traveling both the North and South Islands. I do have a working visa and will be staying in NZ for quite a while. Hopefully you are able to do the same. If so, let me know, as I will definitely be looking for a travel mate or just someone to meet when I first arrive. By August, I'm sure you will have many friends in Auckland.
PS, sorry about the guy...there are many more out there though...
