Me and my friends are planning to travel through Britain, France and German in June and July, we are planning to travel by rail. Sleeping on train at night, and travel in cities at day. We haven't planned much yet because we are still lack in information. Can anyone give us the websites and maps of the railways connected among these countries and major cities, and the ticket informations?? I also want to know if theres any monthly passes available??
If you have any suggestions, please tell us, cause we really don't know much. Great thanks

Rail Europe is a good place to start. If you're under 26, they have student specials you can take a look at, too.

Thank you for the website, I have some questions on the Eurail Global Pass Youth, this is the website for it, http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/passes/eurail_youthpass.htm

Can I use it to travel within a country? Like going to Cher from Paris?
What railway services are included or can I travel with all railway services within the mentioned countries? Like can I travel all railway services in France which include Thalys, Eurostar and TGV?
Does it has sleeping facilities if I travel at night??

Btw, if I want to know more about traveling in Europe, is there any good publications I can buy?

I'm sure you can find everything you need to know on the site - it's pretty complete and it links together most European rail lines.

Good luck and enjoy your trip!

One important question, I live in Hong Kong, can I buy form that website and how can I receive the tickets? Seems the website is US and Canada only.

Donald,

They have local sales agents in Hong Kong where you can purchase the tickets.
