Being an American logic tells you Spanish would be the best option. I've taken French for 3 years in Middle school and 4 years in high school so I'm somewhat fluent in French. My only drawback is that my vocabulary bank isn't as packed as it should be. Eventually I'll start learning Spanish and Italian also interests me.

Being from the united states i feel the most important language i can learn would be spanish. alot of people find it surprising that the united states has such a strong latin infulance. i would say within 10 years, spanish will become the second official language of the USA.

HOLA james.

Besides Thai, I do speak English and Dutch as my second and third languages. As for Dutch I had to anyway, due to my job. -- But if I want to learn another language Spanish is on top of my list. I find it such a beautiful language. I wouldn't mind learning Japanese either.
