I need advice on which countries would be good to go to from December to March in order to make some good cash over the festive season! I will be in London from the middle of October 04 but would probably want to leave there in the beginning of December. Preferably a warm climate but not too fussy!!! I have a UK passport but am travelling with friend that has a SA passport.
Any advice/tips/hints would be most welcome!!!
Although South Africa has a warm climate, it unfortunately banns people visting the country fron officially working at all in SA. To be legal one has to obtain a work permit. Thats the official line anyway, but you can find temp work if you want in quite a few places, mostly in the service industries ie as a waitress in a restuarant or staek house.
Most FORMAL companies will however not hire you unless you have a local ID number & work permit, so unfortunately your choices are limited. You will also find things quite similar in most African countries with restrictions being placed on you working in them.
NOW chat to your SA travel buddy and see if they cannot get BOTH of U work using their personal contacts ??
Thank you for your advice but I think that I either posted the question incorrectly or I gave the wrong information! We are both South African (I have dual nationality though!) and are going to be leaving here in October, going to the UK and then would like to work/travel for the festive season somewhere else.
Can anyone help me correct my original post???
