Not sure if this is what you meant but this company provides excellent free guided walking tours through Berlin, past all the main sights. They have native speaker guides for several languages and we had a great time doing that. You can give them money at the end based on how you liked the tour. They also offer other tours to places in and around Berlin.

Hope this helps.

Sometimes those free walking tours can get really crowded. Another cheap option is to buy an audio tour online. I know that tourcaster.com has good selection of European tours. The tour comes with a map. You download the tour on to your ipod. I got one for Paris last year and it was great because I got to explore the city without looking too much like a tourist.

Hope this helps
