This thread is marked as being about India

I took my very hardcore New Yorker boyfriend to India last fall and... he and India did not get along too well ...see what happened in this vid:

Also, here's a very pretty video about an Israeli girl who decided to find out how Indian women carry so much on their heads...

Let me know what you think.

Pushkar is one of the best place on earth,I have published a book on Pushkar.Being a member of HC, I always advise pushkar to my guest.
Indian lady has a built in stamina to carry weight, dont try it , you may end up having a sprain in neck.

Thanks for the advice about the sprain in the neck! Yes, I guess the ticket seller is not professional :) Thanks for your comments.

Laughed my ass off, he's got to learn to go with the flow or he's going to get a hernia!! Although I've got to say I'd be pretty annoyed trying to get a ticket from that station!

Ha! Yes, he had to learn to go with the flow. I am going to put up the link to Part 2, the continuation of the unhappy traveler's excellent adventures in the next day or so!!

The first video is funny. Although, even i would be pissed if I had to wait for almost two hours and still not get a ticket.

These things happen in India. But a lot of people are changing. I would say its just his hard luck he ended up with such a teller.

I think one thing everybody traveling to India should come prepared for is a cultural shock, especially if they haven't ever visited this part of the world. For Indians its become a way of life. Not for other, I can understand.

Overall, the video is too good.

Goliath, sorry cameragirl... but i couldn't stop laughing at your boyfriend. I myself travelled alot and still want to travel to India. When I went to China, I think it might be even worst... they will "butt-ram" you...(compress you to the window booth) like there are no lines... and it sucks... since I'm asian, they assumed that I was also chinese... so they only spoke chinese to me, even after showing my passport.

But its a great experience, learning different cultures. Good luck for you guys there.
