Washington DC-Philadelphia with a Chinatown bus?

Philadelphia (city center) to DC on the cheap. Greyhound is $25, and the duration time varies (roughly 3 hours - DC-Philly). My question is has anyone taken the so called Chinatown bus from DC to Philly? If so, how much, and how long does it take. Also, what time does it depart?

On a sidenote, where is the Greyhound station in DC? I think it's called Main station (as opposed to Union station, which is a train station, but Greyhound stops there).

Is there a Metro stop near the MAIN Greyhound station in DC?

I have been taking the Washington DC private buses to New York City, and the service varies depending on the company you take. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THE COMPANIES THAT LEAVES FROM DC-CHINATOWN. those companies are completely unreliable, over sold and over all terrible service. I usually take a company called Washington Deluxe. They pick up passanger at 15th st NW (near farragauth North metro) and at New Jersey Ave. (near Union Station), depending on traffic and the bus itself, the trip can be fine, some time the traffic can be bad, but these private buses are so much cheaper than other alternatives, and are much better than the chinatown buses or the greyhound. Look them up in the web, you must make reservations prior to showing up. Payments takes place after departure.

My experience mirrors the previous. Washington Deluxe is superior to the Chinatown bus or greyhound - might be 5-10 bucks more, but worth it. Vamoose is also ok, but Deluxe is the best.
