Hi, friends. I have been thinking a lot about to study English in other country for 6 months, in order to apply after to a master's program in an university. Finally I have decided to travel to Canada. I have always wanted to know this country. I like it very much.
Now, I would like to know which city is better to study. I would prefer a cheap city to live. And one thing else, is it possible in Canada to work teaching spanish? or other kind of job
thanks in advance
If you want to live cheap in Canada, I cant really suggest any place. I can tell you for sure though that Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary are probably no good. They are all great cities but its very expensive to get an appartment in any of those places.
As for teaching Spanish, you might be able to pick up tutoring work, but without teaching qualifications you likely will not be able to be employed in a school setting Though some independant companies might be looking for Spanish teachers.
Did you have a list of places in Canada you wanted to live?
Initially I thought in Vancouver, Otawa or Edmonton, but now, with more information, I am looking for cities that are not so big. I am not sure, but I think that no-big cities are not expensive either. i am thinking in Victoria, Winnipeg, Regina or a small city in Ontario.
You are right about teaching qualifications . I only will have to study....
