Hi guys,

Just landed down in Bangkok yesterday. Its pretty cool here. I was wondering, do you think I should make it out to Phuket/Phi Phi area or is it going to be raining the whole time? I'm basically here for the month of June but I don't know if I should just stick to the Gulf side? I've heard a lot about those places and want to go, but I would rather stay away from constant rain if possible. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

West coast is up to 4 times wetter at this time of year...Bkk is a shower machine......Pattaya or Koh Samet are about the dryest

Want Island time???
Try Kao Chang by the cambodian border ( under Trat) just sent a couple of folks to lonely beach there (treehouse lodge) and they said the weather was fine most times.
Cheaper than phi phi and closer ( if you need to budget your time)

Statistically Koh Chang is 3 TIMES wetter than Phuket at this time of the gfets really wet and many of the facilites are shut down....even the ferries stopped last year not to mention the odd road getting washed away!
