I guess because of the distance, flying is still the cheapest option, and for a one way it shouldn't be more than around 350 euro including taxes.
But it might be cheaper from several places to travel overland, for example from Istanbul through Turkey, Iran and Pakistan.
Or from Moscow taking a train to Tashkent, travelling to Kyrgyzstan and down to china and Pakistan. It requires a lot of visas, so it might not work out to be that cheap.
Also, getting an iranian visa is difficult, or at least takes time, sometimes months to get one, unfortunately especially if you are from the US.

From Moscow, take their national airlines either to Delhi or Mumbai. That would be the cheapest.

If you are in Istanbul. take air arabia airlines that flies to Mumbai.Seems they offer cheaper fare than others.
