My boyfriend and I will travel to Salisbury by car in the end of August and spend one night there. We want to make the best of our day in Salisbury and the next day visit Glastonbury and Stonehenge in our way back to Wales. Which attractions are not to be missed in Salisbury? We wrote down we have to visit the Cathedral and Wilton House. In Glastonbury we want to see the Tor and the Abbey. Of course, we also would like to see The Chalice Well and Gardens. Any ideas or suggestions? We were first considering to spend the night in Glastonbury but a good TP fellow gave us the idea of going to Salisbury which is much better but we would had not thought otherwise without the suggestion. So any idea or suggestion for our itinerary is always welcome as we know it can make our plan better. Thanks!

Hi Audrey,

I visited Salisbury last saturday. The cathedral is a must, and the downtown area is also charming. Stonehenge is only some 15 minutes drive from there.

Have fun!

Late August is "crop circle" season. See if there are any tours that take you to see some crop circles.

I know that this seems wacky and perhaps a bit cheesy, but it's one thing I regret not doing whilst in the area.
