I will be visiting Rome, Florence and Venice in November and I want to travel between towns by train. What would be the cheapest way to go? Purchase seperate tickets? Purchase ticket from Rome to Venice and then stop over in Florence?? Help. Thanks.

Just figure it out at the train station when you get to Italy...

try the official trenitalia site. It has all the train schedules and you can see the prices of all the tickets on it.

Thanks Angela, that info was very helpful. I'd rather know ahead of time what I'm dealing with rather than waiting till I get there.
