Im flying to Thailand but wont be there for long, say 5 days till I get my Vetnamese visa.

So ill then have 25 days left on my normal Thai visa.

Then ill be in Vietnam for a couple of months.

When I come back to Thailland to fly home will I still have 25 days on my visa or does this need extending for my whole trip????????

ty

Sean:)

When you leave Thailand your visa (or tourist stamp? don't think it's considered a visa) will be done and over with. But when you arrive back in Thailand a couple months later (or even if it was the next day), they will give you a nice new one.

Yup, technically it is not a visa. This on-arrival thingy is known as Social Visit Pass. It expires and ceases to be valid when you leave the country, even if you still have time left in it.
