I started to watch a movie a few days ago entitled "Ocean's Twelve". Apparently it is the sequel to "Ocean's Eleven, which I didn't see.
I paused the movie a few times and walked away. Later. I just turned it off. There was quite a big-name cast, but I just found it to be too dull imo.
I heard "Ocean's Twelve" was pretty bad. "Ocean's Eleven" was a fun movie (both the original with Frank Sinatra & the one a few years ago).
I didn't think the 2nd one was 'bad'...it just seemed like they made it to make it. They rested on their laurals from the first lone....same characters (plus Cathrine Zeta-Jones-Douglas-whateveritisnow) I liked the first one. Not enough to see it twice, but I didn't feel that I wasted two hours
One of the latest movie - Sahara! The director thought many of us are foolish and many plots seem not logical nor realistic!
I just watched the new War of the World, it was honestly crap, so if you are thinking about going to the cinema to watch it, then don't bother.
I have been bored to death at the War of the worlds. It's a nightmare!
This will date me, but nothing I have read compare to how bad 'Heaven's Gate' or 'Ishtar' were. Both were unwatchable and HG stalled the director, Michael Cimino's career. If you can find them, get the tape or DVD and try to sit through it. Then you will have a basis for comparison for recent bad movies.
You can add Mojave Moon with Danny Aiello, Anne Archer and Anjolina Jolie to this list. What started out slow just spiralled downward.
