I didn't read the whole thread ( 8 pages ;p ) but I just wanted to say that i loved the book Unbearable lightness of being (they talk about it on the first page of this thread but I didn't like the movie at all. Actually it's one of the best book I've ever read, the reason for that can also be that I read it during my literature class last year and had an excellent teacher who helped us alot with understanding the details and such.
The worst movie though I've ever seen is A diary of a mad black woman! I felt like that were the longest 2 hours of my life.
The worst movie ever conceived, written, directed, produced, and distributed was Michael Sellers VLAD
There are not enough ways of terrible to discribe this movie.
There is no debating this topic. Hands down worst movie ever: Judge Dredd. (smash! smash! blam! pow! crash!) sorry, but everytime I think about how terrible that movie was, I have to break something.
I have to say that Hotel (2001 - just released - not the one based on Arthur Hailey's novel) was really bad!! Right up there with Lost Highway! We actually got through Lost Highway but had to stop watching Hotel after 15-20 minutes. It was just painful! It had a great cast - John Malkovich, Lucy Liu, Julian Sands, Salma Hayek and a few more. After the first few minutes, we didn't care what happened as long as we weren't watching it.
watch 'mystery science theater 3000' you will see the worst movies EVER made EVER... and there will be two robots and a random guy making fun of them the whole time. The show kicks ass... but nobody likes it for some reason. i dont know when its on anymore, usually late at night on sci-fi.
for me, it would have to be fast and the furious 2.
i never saw the original, but im sure it was just as bad.
It's funny though, even though you guys are talking about the worst movies ever, I kinda wanna see them to see how bad they actually are... But don't worry, I won't go spending my money on them
I love MST3K. I used to watch the show religiously, but I have not seen it on in ages. The movie wasn't as good as the show, and the short skits in between the movie showing were not the best part of the show we'll say, but the parts that they were making fun of the movie are priceless.
A friend of mine wants me to key in this: Into the Blue. I haven't watch so comment although I never intend to watch
