Hello everyone:
If anybody has any information on when the "carnavales" are in the different cities in Cuba please post it here so everybody knows and can plan a trip for such dates. I was in Havana in July 2006 and the carnavales there should've started on July 20 but they were cancel due to Fidel's illness.
Thanks,
Miguel

Yes, in Santiago the carnavales will be from July 27 to the 29 according to casa owner from Santiago. He also told me that in Habana the carnavales won't start until August but he was not sure about the exact date in August.
I will be in Cuba for three weeks on July 13 (Havana, Ciego, Santiago). Does any one wants to join me for a beer?
Chao :)

Marlis:
If you are arriving on the 15 to Habana looks like I will just miss you since I am leaving for Ciego de Avila on that day, but if you decide to stop over in Ciego on your way to Santiago please call me so we can have that mojito. I will be staying at this phone number (33) 214026.
Anyway it looks like we both will be in Santiago for the carnavales, maybe then we can meet and have some fun.
Anybody else would like to join us? how about it mohnton. How is your salsa?
Chao,
Miguel
