Hi,
Just read that Pakistan recorded temperatures of 51,6 degrees Celcius last week, the city of Sibi was the lucky one.
Now, I noticed there are a few fellow tp-ers from Pakistan. Anyone as a witness who can confirm this and tell us how hot this actually is? It must feel like a microwave!
Mike

I can't edit the title, it should be aNyone

Hi

I'm not from Pakistan, but I've lived a long part of my life in Rajastham, the desert state of India.

I've seen temperatures till 48 degree C. Though it was only one summer that it touched that high around my city, all I can say is, if you step out, its very much like putting your head in an oven. :) 5 minutes can give even the hardened ones a good sunburn.

Thanks! Yeah, it said Rajasthan saw temperatures close to 50 as well...guess it doesn't really matter anymore whether it's 51 or 48. I heard it's pretty humid as well, is that correct?
Read that California and Arizona are up to 50 degrees lately as well, probably drier air over there....anyone from over there?

Typical Kiwi; come over here, pretend to work, complain about the weather....
