I'm from Canada planning to visit Cambodia this year. Did a google on Cambodia Visa and found that it can be applied online? Did a try and looks pretty simple, but i haven't proceed to the payment. Has anyone tried this before? Just would like to get a second opinion on this, and looking at some visitors having issues on-arrival, would it be good to apply online?
I don't have any experience of applying for a visa online, but I can tell you that I travelled from Vietnam to Cambodia overland in January and got my visa on arriving at the boarder with no hassle.
I looked at getting it online as well and I might do it but one thing to remember (according to the site I looked at) is that the visa is only good for 90 days from the date if issue.
Thanks Lucy for your information, it does make me worry a lil' on arrival especially for newbies like myself. Heard some officers there ask for extra tips.
Guess shall opt for the online version, yes jonclimber, they site says it's for 90 days prior to travel, but some on their blog says tat the Visa can be issued within 2-3 days. Would probably give it a try.
