Hi guys, I'm planning to go to Hong Kong possibly next year and I'm wondering if there are historical and cultural places I could visit there? I'm not keen on going to shopping malls there. I'm more interested in tourist spots... Any suggestions?

I have been to Hong Kong only once and unfortunately for 3 days only.... I loved every moment of my stay in HK

The victoria harbour area and the symphony of lights where there is a spectacular display of lights and lasers from as many as 30 buildings simultaneously are certainly not to be missed.

Also the Cantonese opera--Behind the masks tour and the Kowloon street walk is not to be missed.

Have a nice trip

cheers
Arif

hi i'm a hongkonger and perhaps i can recommend some great places

first of all you can't miss the victoria harhour, you may want to take a ferry and the view is really good, both day and night

stanley in the southern hong kong island, a famous tourist spots
the peak, if you wanna enjoy the night view of hong kong
the budda in lamma island, well the cable car is out of service right now, and i still think it's a great place
and if you wanna experience the culture in hong kong, you may go to central, or some temples (well i don't know the exact location sorry)
