[quote]- l get quite panicky if lm not in control or dont have a plan! I wonder if there is a cure for it?
Yes, it is called alcohol
Normally I would agree with you, but in Purdy's case, that's a bad combination (believe me)
Oi - cheeky!
i agree...i'm a fan of the middleground. too extreme in either direction is a bit too much (or too little) sometimes. it still amazes me how people waiver like that, though - too much in either direction. the way i've been hearing people talk, it really seemed like the battle of the - sides - or such. but it makes more sense like this, in either case.
i like the random - but, i can't have it as much, due to a few undying responsibilities (le grr) - so i plan like a madman so i can be as loose as possible when the time comes.
the good thing nowadays is that communication is a bit better...there's more chance of help from one source or another, and more chance to fill in those gaps that you get from not planning things out. well, more or less, anyway.
I never plan, never have,I just go,Takes me 2 hours to pack, stright to the airport, next available flight, gone,Its cool cause only need visas for about 5 countrys, cause everyone loves us kiwis cause we the best looking
question....i'm going through Kiev in August. I have a full day layoever...What does one do/go during daytime for sights? What's best mode of transportation?
I want to be more spontaneous but as a single woman travelling solo, I feel like I need to make sure I'm not wandering the streets without lodging for too long. Plus, I find planning and fantasizing about a trip so much fun. I'm already planning a trip to Italy/Greece for a year from now, spurred on by a boring vacation I just had. So maybe I'm not a winger but at least I have decided to go the backpacking/hostel route this time instead of the boring "safe" hotels method I've done in the past. This time I'll meet a ton of people, experience life and hopefully have a much wilder time than my "play it safe" days.
