Mel, some would argue that you need a good whipping, but something tells me you'd enjoy it

james, some would argue that you'd enjoy giving it.

Mel, read page one.

I bet it is anti islam, to be a dirty old git, like James.

It probably is, but you're confusing me with someone who cares

Well, I do care and I recommend bringing it back on topic or just refrain from posting. Gee, pretty simple...

Fair point, and apologies.

I think that if you don't like simple, reasonable entrance rules - whether it's to a church, mosque club, bar, pub, whatever - then don't go inside. There's a lot more to see and do.

James, U should NOT go into temples.
Even if u obey the temple rules, it wont fool God.

God loves people like me, and people like you. In fact, he loves us all.

If there is no God to be fooled in the first place, I don't think he/she/it will have any objections. Besides that Churches, Cathedrals, Temples, Synagoges, Mosques are usualy beautiful buildings. So do visit them.

Just behave, like you are asked to, and for that matter: behave everywhere. If you don't know if there are special rules, ask for them, or at least be a bit reserved.

What if u are told, that the rules are that all bisexuals are to wear gloves, when entering a certain building? What would u do?
1. Wear the gloves, because it is important to behave, by obeying the rules, and afterall owners of buildings are entitled to make rules, even if their buildings are open to international tourists?
2. Wear the gloves, but feel discriminated against?
3. Not enter the building at all, as a show of protest?
4. Other? Please explain.

Actually James, sorry, I just checked, God loves everyone except you - sorry about that mate. What a bummer.#

I really don't understand that Mel - that's completely absurd. We're not talking about blatant discrimination, we're talking about women (and men for that matter) being asked to dress according to the rules of the building they are in. If you went to a fancy restaurant with shorts and flip flops on you'd very likely be refused entry - would this be discrimination?

It would be discrimination, if women were told to dress formally to enter the restaurant, while it is acceptable for men to go in there in shorts and flipflops.

I think my comparison sounds absurd to u, because it is an example u have not heard before. If the headscarf wearing rule was completely new, it would probably sound just as absurd. Maybe u would wonder, what exactly is bad, about women showing their hair.
