Hello Melpunk:)

I lived there, for 6 months.
It is a very pretty town, and small enough, to walk around. At least it was, when I lived there, 15 years ago.
There is also a castle on a hill. U can go up there and either just have a coffee, in the cafe up there, or take the guided tour.
U could also hang out, at the cafe, in the university.

Hello melpunk

Heidelberg is a very nice city! Small and with many wonderful sights.

You must visit the castle with all the museums in it. From the top of the hill you have a nice view over Heidelberg and you can go around here for a long time in a nice parc. Also the "Philosophenweg" opposite ist very nice. From there you have a nice view to the castle and to the river.

If you are interesting in Christmas you must visit the "K├Ąthe Wohlfahrt"-House. There you can see so many things about Christmas. Figures, Trees and little gifts.

Here some pictures from our trip in August 2005:

Many greetings
