Greetings!!

I'm new to this forum. Been lurking around for about a week or so.

Could anyone one advise me on which University I should go to? I'm thinking of University of Western Australia(Perth), Curtin(Perth), Murdoch(Perth), Univeristy of Canberra, Deakin(Melbounre), RMIT(Melbounre), and lastly University of NSW. I'm planning to study Arts(Media, Mass Communications, Journalism). Which of these unis are held in high regard in Auzzie? Wouldn't wanna waste my time getting a degree which isn't recognized.

I've stayed in Melbourne for about 2 months so I have a rough idea of what life in Melbourne is like. Is Perth anything like Melbourne? I've heard some remarks about how Perth is a dead city and there's nothing to do outside of studying. Of course I know this is an exaggerated notion, but I wanna know how bad it truely is.

Looking forward to the replies!

You should seriously consider studying in Adelaide at one of the three Universities, Adelaide Uni, Uni of South Australia or Flinders UNi. Check out their websites for course info. Adelaide has alot of international students from singapore which cheap student accommadation for international students. Adelaide is considered one of the cheapest cities in the world to live and safe enviroment. Also you will only be 5 min from the beach
