Hello at all

Some days ago I found the way to this forum and I decided to sign up here!

My name is Manuela and I'm 25 years old. I'm from Germany, especially from Bavaria. I love it to travel around the world and in the last years I and my husband have seen a lot around the world.

I have a lot of hobbies beside the travelling: playing golf, musicals, my homepage and so on.

I think it's very interesting to get to know some people here from all over the world. And I'm glad to interesting conversations here.

Many greetings from the sunny Bavaria
Manuela

hi Manuela,

A warm welcome to the TP community.

I have a special attachment to the Bavarian region as my wife was in Munich for 4 years. She liked the traditional Bavarian dress which the native ladies wear.

Of course she told me about the Oktoberfest also in Munich;)

Have a nice time

Arif

Hello Arif

Yes - the Oktoberfest in Munich is one of the best known event in Germany. :) There are people from all over the world - but not many people from Germany ... much less from Bavaria. ;)

It's too much for us. But in Rosenheim - where I live - we have a little festival like the Oktoberfest. Is the "Herbstfest". It's more interesting for us and there you can see lot of women with the traditional clothes.

But Munich is a very nice city. :)

Many greetings
Manuela

U mean the "Herbstfest" has more natives participating in it. Is this also held during October?

Hello Arif

Yes. The "Herbstfest" in Rosenheim is absolutely more native as the event in Munich. There you meet (almost) only local inhabitants! :) Is every year the last week in august and the first week in september. And in the second week we have a big fireworks on thursday.

Hello opospa

Bayern Munich - we are a great fan of this club and of the Allianz Arena. :)

Greetings
Manuela

My wife is going to Germany in august end for 3 weeks. maybe i will also join her in first week of September if i get time. I would be lucky then to witness ur local fest.

Do u also have the beer flowing as freely as in Munich
