Travel Forums System Talk When items are removed from the Wiki

When items are removed from the wiki, are the members who contributed those items notified?
Sometimes mine have been moved, to another section, and I managed to find them. Other items just seem to be gone.

No, members are not notified of changes done. You can add articles to your watchlist to track changes.

If any information is removed or edited, it's probably because the member who did that deemed it to be incorrect or unrelated. If you feel that it had been wrongly removed or edited, you could either revert to the previous version, or start a discussion about it in the discussions section (not in the forums).

I found the watchlist.
If something is removed, would it say removed, or edited, on this list?

Dr Pepper, u seem to do most of the editing.
Was my entry, about the bikers halt, near Khao Sok removed or moved?

Mel, you can look in the history of each article to see a list of changes and compare versions to each other. Usually that is a simple way to find out where the change has happened.

In the watchlist, it would say 'edited' and the numbers indicate how much change there has been.

Looking through the changes for Thailand, the Biker's Halt information has not been removed, but rather commented out, because it is in the wrong spot. If you click to edit the Thailand article, you will still see the information, but with comments like this around it. There's a note there explaining why.

One more question, about this.
If an item is hidden, such as the Bikers Halt one, what happens next, with it? Am I supposed to do what the comments in the watchlist say, or is Dr Pepper or somebody going to sort it?
