Hiya,

I am an Australian and need a visa for Thailand.

Does anyone know if I can apply for it through the Thai consulate in Amsterdam or do I need to be a Dutch citizen?

thanks

Shell,
I got a Thai visa in Singapore and one in Cambodia. The Thai consulate should not care what passport you carry, they issue visas to qualified visitors. You have a valid passport, will pay the required fee, they should issue you a visa for your Thailand adventure. Have a great trip.

Hello Shellieb:)

Unless u plan to stay in Thailand, for more than 30 days, u dont need to apply for a visa, before u go. U will get a 30 day visa on arrival. This can also be extended, for a fee, at the immigration offices around Thailand.

Otherwise, as far as I know, u can apply for a visa, at any Thai consulate, around the world. Just find the the website of the consulate, in Amsterdam and email them, just to make sure.

Hey, thanks everyone, phew, I was starting to panic for a while, I couldnt get one in my home country before I left on my travels as it would have expired by the time I arrive to Thailand. Ive sent emails to the Thai consulate in Amsterdam but I guess they are busy. But things are looking good, Thanks for your advice.
