1) Mixing anything with your liqour.

I think you forgot something here. Shouldn't it read 'Mixing anything non-alcoholic with liquour'?

Did we cover 'Stealing pints' yet? If not, that's a sin that deserves capital punishments. Also spilling somebody's drink and not buying them a new one!
Oh and: Putting Coke/Ice/other soft drink into a good Single Malt Whisk(e)y!!!! BLASPHEMY!!!!

trying to convince one nationatality that they are another

(saw this the other day, an american older man tried to convince an irish guy that he was british and that ireland was a part of britain, this didn`t go down well, especially since it was late in teh night and the guy had been drinking since the afternoon)

Yes Raven, that is certainly a sin.
A Canadian guy told me Ireland is a British Isle.
He was a geography student.
The worse sin of all is that he was not trying to be offensive.

i don`t think the american guy meant to offend him either, he really didn`t seem to understand, what makes it worse is that he kept saying that he understood as he was half irish and didn`t like answering to the queen but that was life !?!.....

eating McDonalds whilst on your travels

Actually, I think the Egg McMuffin makes a decent and quick breakfast when on the road.

Thinking you're suppose to lick the salt on your hand when drinking tequila.
(It's suppose to be thrown over your shoulder for good luck - that luck being you don't hit your head on a table or chair when you fall down from drinking too much.)

I thought you were supposed to lick salt off the neck of a kindly and pretty stranger before consuming tequila?

Can we make that kindly and pretty or handsome stranger for some of us who aren't into same-sex licking of salt? Just a thought... But, your idea (either way) would take it out of the sin running...

Do u live in Amsterdam?

Answer:
No Mel, I live in Utrecht.

Reaction:
Huh!!!????
I have never heard of it.

Isadora says
Mel, what has this got to do with sins.
Mel says, well, conversations like the above are a sin, in my opinion.
