hey guys,

i have just arrived in darwin and its the first time im travelling alone!! i really want to meet people but im finding it difficult. any advice??

I guess if you want to meet travellers, go to the nearest hostel, if you are not already there. For meeting locals, go to the nearest pub.
Otherwise, hook up with a tour to for example Kakadu National Park or Litchfield National Park, or a combination, maybe also with Katherine Gorge. You will meet fellow travellers and maybe afterwards you will find yourself buying a car with others travelling south through the desert....just some thoughts!

Pub will be a good place to meet people.
Well, can go to suburb farms to meet some travellers doing farm stay.
