Greeting all,I have decided to go for a trip round Europe,I would like to do my own thing, not tours and guides and cant seem to find a starting point as there is so many places to go and I will go to them all. Also would like to do this very soon like in a month,How does one start a plan of this,Im kinda lost.Any help will be highly thanked, cheer
Let's see, Kiwiguru:
starting point 1: destination of cheapest flight - for obvious reasons
starting point 2: north / south of Europe - for logistic reasons
starting point 3: least desired place - for tension reasons
Okay, let's stop kidding around (although one might say, these starting points are still quite reasonable), it depends a lot on your interests, budget and schedule. Advice will be easier and probably more helpful if you get some order here .
it really depends on ur budget. I mainly travel in East Europe cuz its much more affordable.
I let how I start depend on flight prices and availibility.
I would just fly into any place in Europe, and expand the plan from there.
Get a Lonely Planet Guide book for Europe, to help with the expanding. In case u dont know, they are available in most bookshops around the world and cost around 27 Euros.
