Free airline ticket!!!!!!!
Lucky u!!!!!!
Do u get free airline tickets, to fly around Europe as well as to fly from the US to here?
U should travel lots and lots. What an opportunity.
If u want partying, u will certainly find it in Romania.
Romanians seem to be able to go nonstop.
I was there one New Years. The parties went on for at least a week. After a few nights of it, I had to hide, in order to get some rest. Everywhere I sat or stood in the street or a cafe, some age 20 something Romanians would come along, and ask were my friends are. Then because I was in Romania alone, they would insist that I come to their party, where they had endless numbers of big plastic cola bottles full of homemade wine. If they ever saw me, without one of those cola bottles, somebody would quickly find another one for me.

Anyway, I think some Romanian girl is likely to pick u up, and take u to all the parties going.

romania it' s not expensive, but from what i know london sure is>in romania you can find a place to stay for 20 euros/night or even cheaper (depends on the place) and the food it's not expensive either.
so....400 euros will be enough for romania but i don't know if 600 will be enough for london
have a nice trip!

Quoting Mel.

Underground train and city bus rides £3 each. - Lets say around 15 Euros per day

That's the most uneconomical way to buy a tube ticket.

On the days that you will be travelling, buy a day pass. On other days, simply walk. You can get to a lot of places in London on foot.

Alternatively, buy a 7 day tube pass; say covering both zones 1 and 2. You can also use this for the bus, and it will cost around 24 pounds I think.

Just curious... someone said Cluj Romania was a college party city. Does anyone know this to be true? Where are some places in Romania you would recommend to be a good party spot??

Mel... To answer your question... I can fly free on most airlines almost anywhere in the world. Well, almost free... I have to pay airport taxes and customs fees... but that is still cheaper than paying for a ticket!

I was just overestimating the cost James, because it is better than underestimating when trying to work out if a certain amount of money is enough.
I know, there are more economical ways, to pay for public transport. ;)
