Every now and then, when I look at the front page of the forums I see for example the date of the 23th of July as the last posting date in General Talk, which surprised me. Then I open General Talk and see the 25th of July as the last date, which makes more sense
This happens on a regular basis, though not often. Anyone know how this comes?

could it be that the page didn't refresh properly for some reason?

I can vouch for Michael's different date thing. It does happen once in awhile but when I hit refresh/reload, it corrects itself. At that point, I just figure it's time to empty the cache, which I do and it corrects the problem. I don't know if that's Michael's trouble or not, but that works for me. (It probably has nothing to do with the cache and it's really just magic.)

Michael, are you using a mac too?

Before any of you mac lovers start thinking funny, I'm just trying to pinpoint the problem, okay?!

Well, even after refreshing the page, it still showed a previous date, but it only lasts for an hour or so. Oh well, it's not that it is a problem, but just wanted to clear it up, maybe there was a bug or something

Oh, and Tway, since when are girlfriends part of the system talk;)

I've seen it too. Wonder if we're being overly aggressive with caching somewhere. (Maybe caching the query and the page for different amounts of time, which causes the effective caching time to double?)
