Hands down, (at least in my mind), Air France! OOh...the fresh baguettes...the attention to detail....the wine.

Next would be British Airways. Only because I love how the give out popcicles to hydrate, their offering of tea at all times. and I always look forward so much on the return trip to my scones with clotted cream and jam. (Not the best mind you...but it always reminds me of where I'm returning from...) I just love that!

Then there is Malev Airlines in Hungary. (Not exceptionally the best food..) But...who else gives you a three course meal for a 3 hour flight??? (beats a bag of peanuts!) LOL!

The best airline food lve ever had must be BA business class to NYC - but l only have ever made that trip once - but it still sticks out in my head - butterscotch cheese to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from that bmi do a breakfast panni - sausage and egg with a dash of HP sauce - mmmmm - only on the morning flights though!

On my flight from the UK to Rio with Varig, there was not enough vegetarian meals onboard so they went to see what they could do (remember this is a flight of over 11 hours) and they came back with the amazing offer of an apple!!!!! Obviously I just laughed and said they would have to do better than that and they did eventually go back and fry up a few vegtables for me somehow.

I've never had anything particularly fancy. Air New Zealand did a nice lamb stew, but lamb isn't really my favourite, so I mostly enjoyed the gravy. I remember having an omlette on Air Transat to Cuba that tasted like cheese - which was great, as I'm not too fond of eggs either. The nicest meal I remmber seeing on a plane was this big dish of smoked salmon and glasses of white wine they served on the short Sabena jaunt from Brussels to Malaga. Unfortunately, I was staring at it from the seat behind the curtain. :(

all of them! it's probably a head thing; when i was 7, we moved from serbia to canada to live. everything being so exciting and different (and we'll be in a plane very very high up?!), when the food came i got all excited. so now, everytime i get food on a plane...i get ridiculously exciting. even if it tastes like crap. i still gobble it all up.

but the trip that stuck out most in my mind, was when my family was going go mexico...they served..lasagna, i believe. it smelled so good! but...hahaha...i had good ol' colitis and had to eat a specific diet - which really ended up to be me stripping off the cheese, sauce, meat, and everything else from the pasta itself and eating the pasta pieces. things always smell so good when you can't eat them!!

Dear friends!!! I'm terribly sorry to find out that you didn't try JetAirways (Indian airlines) with tasty masala dosa and other kinds of fantastic indian cuisine dishes. It really was delicious!!

I think the best would be KLM and Iranair.
The worst one would be Air France.

I have to agree with a previous entry - Singapore Airlines serve very good food, choice of wines (free) and the general service is excellent - a well stocked bathroom with razors, after shave, hand cream, perfume etc, hot towels before a meal, individual TV screens for all your movie, music and games needs.
