once... but not by the authorities...

i need visa to visit Thailand... & i was traveling from Singapore to Islamabad via Bangkok, the stupid AirAsia personnel dint let me board the plane from Singapore, claiming that AirAsia is a point to point carrier and they can't let a transit passenger board... i showed them my confrim ticket from BKK-ISB in 3 hours i land at Suvrenbhumi.... but all in vain...

had to buy Thai Air ticket to catch my flite ...

Yeah, it seems so hard to get a US visa. Some people close to me tried to get one recently, but they were denied because the consular officers did not believe they would go back. So frustrating!!!

us visas are really tough ones. the first time my husband (south african) came to visit, he got a 6 month visa, pretty unheard of, but we pushed our luck before it expired and drove down to mexico. on the way back in, they gave him a really hard time but finally allowed him a month to get out of the country. when we got married, only about 10 south africans made the journey over, but they all had interesting stories to tell about getting their visas. anyone under 25 only got visas for a couple weeks.
