I think, the first thing to do would be to invest in a good travelling book.
That will give u information about transport, money, accomodation, tourist attractions etc etc etc.
I suggest one of the following, because they specialise in catering for backpackers. Get one that covers all of Europe. They are available in most book shops, around the world, at a cost of around 26 Euros.
If u want to find travelling companions, there is a forum here for that. U could put a post there.
For your travel in Spain...
You can visit http://www.spain.info/.
Is the official site of tourim in Spain, for sure, you will find the answers of your questions ;-)
What Mel said about the guide book is the best idea probably a good one is the Lonely Planet Europe on a Shoestring guide. That is a very big book and contains information on basically all countries throughout Europe, then once you find information that appeals to you like certain places well then ask more on here or go and do a google search. Google is an amazing site and you'll find almost any information you can possibly imagine on there if you use the right search terms.
Maybe if you gave people an idea of the sorts of things you are interested in when travelling ie you keen on history, architecture, nature, adventure travel, trekking, partying, cultural/ethnic travel etc. If we had a bit of an idea then people can possibly suggest places, but without this information it is very difficult, because what I may consider a must see or must do to you might not be that worth while.
