Definitely bring a SILK sleeping bag liner. Its the perfect compromise. It weighs nothing, is quick to wash and dry and therefore very hygenic. Will keep you warm in the cold and cool in the heat .... also great if you're not to convinced that the hostel/hut sheets are clean.

It was the best thing I brought to SEA with me.

And I have heard that bed bugs won't bite you though silk.

A silk sleeping bag liner???? hahahaha i had no idea something so flamboyant had been created!
seems a little exquisite for my humble tastes. Sorry, but the idea of a smelly, dirty sleeping bag that's lined with silk is quite funny!

There's nothing flamboyant about this:

Hygenic, light as a feather, durable and warm ..... won't smell either, and will as someone else pointed out, save you from bed bugs!

A regular sleeping bags will actually harbour the feckers ....
