Hello Dar egan
Things as small as a passport can be kept in your moneybelt.
If u dont have one, they are a good thing to have. U wear it inside your clothes.
It lies flat against your stomach, so it is not easily visible for anybody thinking about robbing u.
Put passport and other doccuments into something waterproof, for trecking, because moneybelts are usually not.
I normally waterproof everything important ie travel documents, cards... twice and carry them in my pack instead of a secret stash on myself. Cos personally i think keeping my small day pack dry is a lot easier and less of a pain in the rear than keeping myself dry.
