hey,
i'm skivving at work again and this seemed like a bit of fun and something to do with my nervous energy!

1. I reckon my fave food would have to be a good curry, maybe a rogan josh or a jalfrezi
2. Aqua has got to be the loveliest colour in the world.
3. I like alot of directors but the best directing i have ever seen was... (don't laugh) steven speilberg with Jaws. that film is amazing! it still terrifies me.
4. I love the film true romance and i think christain slater is excellent if not a little typecast. i think it must be those arched eyebrows, he's like a young jack nicholson.
5. Three things I couldnt live without are; my memory/memories, a sense of humour and toothpaste.

hey what about favourite books?
mine's I know why the caged bird sings by maya angelou but margaret lawrence's The Diviners really affected me. (in a good way if you know what i mean)
hey is it time to go home yet? roll on 5:00pm!

Hi there fin yep skiving work - I'm doing that all the time I'm not really into reading stories - more a movie girl. If I read it is all autobiographies and history type stuff Tell you what there's some good ideas for recipes here though Oh the Spaghetti Scoglio I love is from an italian restaurant called the 'Mona Lisa' in Laxey, Isle of Man :) So if any travellers visit the Isle of Man that place will sure as heck tickle your taste buds but then it's so small that not many do unless it's the TT races:) I don't think I could quite cook it the same at home. As for Tarantino - thumbs up for all Tarantino fans I also agree tho' that Tom Hanks, Al Pacino, Johnny Depp and Christian Slater are great actors. Actually Christian Slater and Johnny Depp came to the Isle of Man because there are a few films that have been shot over here. As has John Malcovich who actually is another favourite actor of mine. My mate saw him in Marks & Spencer and I saw Christian Slater in our local bar but didn't realise it was him, thought it was a lookalike until I realised he had been over. Such as life If it was Keanu Reeves though I would have been more gutted as he's a babe as is Johnny Depp but then I didn't spot him as he is rather elusive Anyway that's the Islands claims of fame so far Although I'd much rather the famous bands come over though as I am more into my music than I am movies but they don't. Ah well

Actually fin if I was to answer your question on fave books - the best one I think I've ever read is 'The Hobbit' - I absolutely adored that story and when I was a kid my favourite was 'Matilda' by, I think it is 'Roahl Dahl' - I struggle to find any good reads these days - but would love to get back into my reading
