Too bad, i subscribed a few years ago but lost my pw and all
So here another introduction
I recently moved to Florida and so far I like it! However, there's so much to see and to do so I hope to get some advice from the Floridians on this forum.
If someone has questions about Belgium, Brussels,...I'd happy to help you so drop me a line.
Meanwhile, have a good weekend, talk to you soon!
Not from Florida or Brussel.
Just stop by to wish you WELCOME BACK.
See you around!!
Hi Z and welcome (back)
Hope to see you around the forums.
I'm about as far away from Florida as you can get and still be in the lower 48 (WA State), but have been there a few times since my son moved there a few years ago. When he was in Gainesville, we drove out to Cedar Key, which we all liked a lot. There is also a sink hole in north Gainesville which is either a state or county part that was very interesting.
He has since moved to Miami - where I visited him last April. We went Miami Beach, Parrot Jungle & Seaquariam, which are nice for out of towners. A few years ago we took a tour on an air boat in the everglades and saw lots of gators. Haven't been to the Key's yet, but will be RV'ing around the country for the next 8 months and one goal is to go to Key West and Cape Canaveral. I've also been to Orlando (it's about what you'd expect - nice if you like theme parks) and Fort Lauderdale (nice beach - we did NOT go during during spring break). I've enjoyed visiting Florida, but I'll keep my home in WA - much prefer the weather out here (and hate the toll roads - although I think those are moving west as well - ugh).
Hope you also make the time to visit the Bahama's, which are a pretty short trip from FL and fun to visit.
