Quoting Elnaz

Excuse me , what is problem ;)
:-)

Or do u mean the problem with Isadora?
She does not like my idea, to make TP more efficient.
When people reach a certain age, they become resistant to change, even if the change would benefit everybody.
But having said that, older folk are valuable to society, because they have a lot of knowledge that they can pass on.
For example, I bet Isadora makes a great pumpkin pie.:)

On the contrary - I think it's a lovely idea. I'm sure Sam and Peter will embrace having their site reduced to gibberish and losing a good portion of their members - just as soon has they have recuperated from their lobotomies. I honestly think making TP more efficient through text messaging shortcuts should be suggested over in System Talk.

Oh, and I do make a great pumpkin pie.

Right, this whole Mel/Elnaz thing has been tolerated up to a point because everyone thought it was quite funny, but now it's just getting to be a tool to cause offence. It's completely ridiculous, no-one's buying it.

So Dear Mel, in your infinite wisdom, can you explain to the rest of us dinosaurs how text posting would make TP more efficient? And what are you really going to do with the 3 seconds you save in every texted post, develop new theories of Socialism?

I don't dispute your desire to learn text shorthand....it fits you. But it doesn't belong here.

Lastly, you seem to have a deep-seated need to take out after the Moderators of this site. It's not particularly funny, and it is showing the rest of the members how little you care for authority. This is not a democracy and YOU do not get to decide what is right or wrong. How many times do you have to be told? You're getting to be like a tiresome child who will not mind her mother. I'm sure I'm not the only one fed up with your backhanded attempts at slam humor. Grow up. And if you have any more ideas to "improve" this site, post them where they belong, in System Talk.

Tway, Purdy, Isadora, Hien, MikeyBoab, I'm with you all the way. Mel, I have two questions for you:

1) Are you for real
2) Do you have shares in a comma company, or did you lose a bet with someone

I have to say I find your ageist assumptions (all be they attempts at some form of humour) hilarious (but not in the way you would like to think) coming from someone who doesn't know either 'text speak' or apparently even the simple predictive technique.

Well better to spit now, because in a few years you'll be too old to spit. It'll come out more like a drool..........

Come on now Mel, everyone is resistant to change. Not just those who are older or younger than you or I. For example, you have been asked by many members to write out 'you' instead of 'u' yet you fail to do so because you are 'saving time.' Likewise, a child doesn’t always want to change his or her behavior just because you want them too. You would think that as a mother you would have learned that by now.

How Isa makes pumpkin pie has nothing to do with you wanting to sound like a middle-school aged child in an international adult forum.
