Quoting Gelli

I've now got Runaway train in my head..

I was going to post "me too!" but then I remembered why it's stuck in my head.

Sorry

...Runaway train never going back
Wrong way on a one way track
Seems like I should be getting somewhere
Somehow I'm neither here no there...

I Can Dream About You - Dan Hartman (Streets of Fire Soundtrack)

It was playing on the radio when the alarm went off this morning.

...Runaway train never going back
Wrong way on a one way track

Or as my mother used to sing . . .

Runaway train never going back
It ran away down the railway track . . .

Thanks to Tway and her John & Yoko Love-In (aka Bed-In) comment somewhere else, I have:
(*The Amsterdam Hilton was the first of two "bed-ins", the second being in Montreal at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.)

Drove from Paris to the Amsterdam Hilton,
Talking in our beds for a week.
The newspapers said, say what you doing in bed?
I said, were only trying to get us some peace.
Christ you know it aint easy,
You know how hard it can be.
The way things are going
Theyre going to crucify me.

Unfortunately, that keeps morphing into:

On top of spaghetti,
All covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball,
When somebody sneezed.

(Sung to the tune of "On Top of Old Smokey")
