this is nice. a thread for me, feels nice. Got back 3 days ago. Sold my car for more then double the amount I paid in Europe. Sold at the head customs officer before Gambian customs (he probably doesnt has to pay import tax, good for him). West-Africa is great, frustrating at times. Dont speak a freaking word of French which is a pain. But its awesome to drive all the way to west-Africa and "easily" done (u need to have the ability to be patient though). Met fantastic people, fantastic landscapes, lonely roads.....awesome experience and huge adventure. I would do it again like that. The unpredictability of Africa makes it a thrilling adventure. I will put some of my pics in my photogallery soon. Good to be back on TP.

Welcome back!!! Congrats on selling your car and having an amazing time in Africa!!! ;)
Looking forward to seeing your photos once you have posted them. Are you going to blog about the trip too?

Oh, and is the coffee ready yet?? There's a line forming outside Penguin's Point!!

I guess you missed cool days and alcohol for weeks haven't you? Probably must have been like 45 degrees?
