I know y'all are busy, but would it be possible to get a hugging emoticon It could involve a little ingenuity on your parts, but I think you're up to it.
(This idea was kidnapped from Mel because I had thought before it would be nice to be able to cyberhug, but had never translated that into the idea of making it into an emoticon as she did.)
Good luck. Two years ago, we somehow managed to persuade the overlord to add three additional emoticons for us.
Back then the chatroom was busy with members two hours before and two hours after midday Eastern Time. And that three were the among the favourites in the chatroom. Peter was in there one night and somehow we managed to get him add one from the chatroom into the forums, then another, and by the third one, he realised we weren't going to stop asking. And so he decided to stop there.
I have a group hug emoticon from another forum. It's rather big though, something I believe Peter wouldn't want as it messes with the height of each line.

If you guys do this for me I won't ask for anything ever again (well, that's probably a lie, but I won't ask for anything unless I'm really confused, how 'bout that) And I'll even make you a pie! Pretty please with sugar on top.

Ok, two hug emoticons here.
Oooohhhh, I like those especially the "regular" hug one. How doth one use them - or do the people upstairs have to do something with them first?
Excuse the quasi-inside joke, but we could always just type "ZH".
Can we please have the hug emoticons??? I like them both, with a preference for the group hug because it has so many colors. But the single hug would be the most often used one. If this is not possible - ZH always works.
Aaahhhh, H... The most recent emoticon we lobbied for is
B typed <ninja> so often (and it was available in chat) that the Overlords finally caved!

I think the Overlords are ignoring us in hopes that this request will go away. The don't know us very well, do they? But a great big <ZH> for them anyway. Maybe it will soften them up!
Don't give up yet! (yeah, I've forgotten about this new addition)
I think the problem with adding more originally was that when the browser window is 800x600, there's not much space left for more emoticons. But looking at it, it would appear that an extra one might fit without one having to go....
We'd just need to find one in the same style that is under a license that allows us to use it
