This is strange but I'm not surprised to see it. The United States puts a large emphasis on professional sports. Currently, there are a number of scandals. Steroids have gotten to the point that the Federal government has stepped in to take action on the professional athletes. They have required the leagues to have a steroid policy which this website pokes fun about.

For instance, Barry Bonds just broke Hank Aaron's home run record in baseball. It is widely believed Barry Bonds has taken steroids so the uproar is the tainting of record books. Since I am not a baseball fan, it doesn’t really bother me but I certainly understand the sentiment.

The dog fighting comment comes in lieu of a current scandal in which the quarterback (or should I say former) for the Atlanta Falcons (National Football League) supposedly had organized dog fighting on his property. This is an illegal activity in the United States and hopefully many other places. Reportedly, dogs that did not perform well were electrocuted, hanged... etc. Its rather nasty but it looks as though he is about to get what he deserves in the case as it is believed he will plead guilty to these charges soon.

These kids look as though they are attempting to take negative publicity and turn it into positive publicity most likely for self promotion. They do have a point though, they aren’t really doing anything other than being kids.

Its simple and clear
They don't want people to have celebrities as their heros when they are not really heros.
For example ... I have Mr. X as my hero because he is good in movies, I adore him and etc.
but in real he is a bad guy and has fought several times with other people just because they asked him for a sign and many times has been arrested because of drunk driving

Its a mistake.

These kids are trying to be their own hero and want other kids to be so.
They are innocent and clear of any of those faults. They can be good examples of the other kids.
For example Mike Tyson, many guys love him, but he is a dirty man. several times raped women etc.
but many children love him, why not to love other kids who are really good in sports ?
Its what they are trying to say and I support this move.
They are really good and understood that found this out and made this webpage
I appreciate it.

That's an easy one. Those are ABBA's love children.

Those kids also have a big billboard(at least one), in the US advertising their website. They seem to be spending a lot of money on this.
And arent their eyes a bit creepy?
I am wondering if this is some mind bending advertisement, for a film or something.

Something tells me their parents are spending a lot of money on this...

Doubtful - their parents probably want them to be the "next big thing" and have their 15 minutes of fame.

I've just checked it out as well...

the photos look like they r trying to present themselves as Angels. My first thought was: r they members of some weird religious group?

Mel, how did u come across it?

...I'm getting the idea behind it, but the focus is definitely on them becoming famous in their sport and meeting this Letterman guy...
